The renowned Austrian photographer, curator and publisher, who achieved international fame primarily for his colour photography (»Das Land«), worked in black and white at the beginning of his career. Already in his first independent photo book, he proved his instinct for moments that show the everyday with surprising directness and at the same time as a profoundly photographic creation.
