    As one of the leading models in Paris, Lee Miller posed many times for Huene. She also became one of his studio apprentices. Compared with the previous work she had undertaken with her lover and principal teacher Man Ray, Lee observed that Huene’s work was ‘an entirely different kind of photography’.
