Huene enjoyed vacations in Tunisia and travelled extensively in North Africa. This photograph of Comtesse Max de Pourtalès, the Baronne Mallet, and the Baronne Jean de Nervo swathed in chiffon veils was taken in Tunis, about an hour by road from Hammamet, where Huene built his holiday house.
