Huene created a decadent atmosphere in this photograph of a model wearing a delicate feather-trimmed evening gown. She reclines on a chaise draped with leopard skins in front of a photographic backdrop featuring classical masks. The same spectacular backdrop features in several of Huene’s images from 1934.
