Telling stories and sharing them: That's whats on the forefront of Platons photographic practice. At his artist talk, the photographer gave us insights behind the scenes, what it's like to only have 5 minutes to take a photo and standing eye to eye with some of the most powerful people in his studio. Hence he talked about his meeting with Putin and Barack Obama, as well as encounters with celebrities such as Adele and David Beckham.
The artist talk was part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of WestLicht and made up the climax of the festivities together with the OstLicht Auction Spring 2026, the exhibition opening of PLATON. PEOPLE POWER and an open house day.
