Swiss design meets decorative thread sewing. In this workshop, Anna Frey will show you how to stitch a book block using ‘French link stitch binding’ and laminate it into a soft cover. You will learn all the important materials and basics of bookbinding and then bind a 128-page book block made from high-quality 100 g uncoated paper. The special thing about the Swiss brochure: after opening the cover, the spine of the book block with thread stitching is visible. This not only looks great, but also impresses with its particularly good opening behaviour.
No previous knowledge is required to take part in this course. All working materials will be provided.
