Anna Breit's work is at the interface between photographic art and documentary photography, whereby she always works in thematic series. In »Mama«, she paid tribute to the beauty of her mother, whom she photographed as a model in a variety of ways. These included close-up views of her body, which usually appears fragmented in the image format.
