The graduates of the class 2018/2019 of Schule Friedl Kubelka für künstlerische Photographie present their final works with FAVORITEN (22). In the exhibition, both analogue and digital photographs, partly elaborately arranged, partly spontaneously captured moments, as well as videos, audio works and objects can be seen. The works deal with current, art historical, political, social as well as personal questions – stories are told, artistic concepts implemented and objects arranged in space.
The title FAVORITEN (22) refers not only to the district of Vienna, in which
the exhibition is taking place, but also expresses the fact that the best, the favourite works of the individual artists are shown.
The cross-media exhibition reflects the broad and open understanding of
artistic photography that is taught to the students of Schule Friedl Kubelka under the direction of Anja Manfredi.
