Inge Morath (1923 – 2002)

Inge Morath's portraits of the people and villages of Spain over the course of several visits are published in several books about Spain and the Fetivals of Pamplona and San Fermín. The present image was taken on one of her first own assignments and visits of the country, meanwhile Morath assisted Henri Cartier-Bresson during 1953-54. She became a full member of Magnum in 1955.
