Pongracz took this photograph for her exhibition at Vienna Secession and the accompanying publication. The project is dedicated to two members of the artists' association - Franz Ringel and Martha Jungwirth. An extensive »photo story« shows their life and work as artists by circuiting their social and urban environment.
In his paintings, Franz Ringel focuses above all on unconscious impulses and fantastic ideas of gender relations. Pongracz' captured him in close embrace with one of his typical female figures.
