Vice President Richard Nixon arrives in Moscow , USSR (Russia), July 1959
During his stay in Moscow Nixon will visit the »American National Exhibition«, where the famous »Kitchen-Debate« between him and Nikita Khrushchev will take place in front of displayed kitchens. The two got embroiled in an argument about the advantages of their respective ideologies, and Magnum-member Erwitt was at the right spot to cover the scene.
