Ernest Hemingway and Martha Gellhorn, Sun Valley, Idaho, November 1940
The famous writer and Martha Gellhorn reading at home a few days before they were married in Wyoming, in the dining room of the Union Pacific Railroad at Cheyenne. For Hemingway it was his third marriage. Gellhorn was known as a war reporter, as was the photographer of this intimate scene, Robert Capa.
