In his series »¥€$U$« the polish photographer Paweł Jaszczuk embarks on a search for representations of Christ in pop culture. An accidentally found pocket knife in the shape of a cross became an inspiration for further investigation. The result is a whole photo-series that shows a world between spirituality and commerce made of Holy Mary underwear, neon figures of saints and Jesus swim rings.
Some of the works have been featured in the exhibition »OstLicht RELOADED & YOUNG EDITIONS«.
