    The annotation on the reverse of the print calls the indigenous Ecuadorians Jivaro e Juglio, who are busy with a reading booklet, »Pellerosse« (red-skinned people), which has since been discarded as a racist term. The booklet is entitled »Shuar Chicham«, this is the indigenous language spoken by the Shuar people in the provinces of Morona Santiago and Pastaza in the Ecuadorian Amazon basin.
